Tuscaloosa School System's Latest Stupidity

The Tuscaloosa (AL) School System has decided to turn two elementary schools into K-8 grade schools. Remember, the reason we have middle schools is because 7th graders are too young to be in school with 9th graders. Apparently, kindergardeners aren't too young to be in school with 8th graders. Naturally, there's no effort to build new additions to house the over 300 new students each school will get. These schools are in upper-middle class neighborhoods. Why is the School System doing this? The obvious answer is because the white bourg parents don't want their kiddies to associate with the "underprivileged" (or whatever the current faux liberal euphemism is for African Americans). The more complex reason is because they're idiots.
